TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR 2018! CHECK THE LINKS BELOW. SIGN UPS CLOSE ON AUGUST 27TH!

Calling all first years!  Each year ITW offers Adventure Trips to beautiful destinations across California before the school year starts and we want YOU to join us!  This year we will have six trips to choose from and they will run from September 12th through the 14th with a kick-off dinner and pre-trip information session with your trips leaders on the night of the 11th. Participating students will be able to move into their permanent residence hall during the morning of the 11th.  ITW will take care of the food, group gear, permits, and transportation. Backpacks, headlamps, sleeping bags, and sleeping pads are available to rent through the club. If you have your own gear, feel free to bring it!  ITW leaders have great advice on how to store personal camping gear in the residence hall rooms during the school year.  Skill levels of the trips will range from beginning car camping (no prior experience necessary) to intermediate backpacking (prior backpacking experience highly recommended).  For more information, please see each trip’s skill level description below.  If you have concerns about the finances of this trip and are a Pell Grant recipient, please reach out to us for more information about a fee waiver.

Sign-ups are now first come first serve! Simply purchase a ticket by clicking the link next to your desired trip. Trip leaders will reach out with more information. Sign ups close on August 27th.

For any questions, feel free to contact us at intothewild@scu.edu. We are stoked to meet you and introduce you to some of the best outdoor locations in Northern California. Come with us to get up, get out, and get wild!
