We pause to gratefully acknowledge the Indigenous peoples on whose ancestral homelands we gather, as well as the diverse and vibrant Indigenous communities who make their homes in these places today. We are always in relationship with indigenous peoples by living in, recreating on, and leading trips in various ancestral homelands. We remember the Indigenous connection to the regions and give thanks for the opportunity to gather in traditional homelands. We acknowledge the importance of continuously learning about the indigenous peoples and the land on which they reside across our nation and world.
