WHAT IS UP WILDLINGS??? Got any plans for your first long weekend at Santa Clara? Want to see where Jurassic Park was filmed? Want to see epic prehistoric ferns, the Pacific Ocean, waterfalls, and front row seats to elk rut season? Join Rut Season Sean, Ornery Elk Orion, and Antler-locked Erin on an epic trip up to Redwoods National Park! We’ll be leaving at 8 AM on Saturday and driving up along the coast to our campsite, where we’ll hang around at camp and check out the beaches and coastline to swim, play some games, and relax on the beach. Afterwards, we’ll cook up the first of our delicious meals and freshly made warm desserts. Our campsite is known for lots of elk, so we’ll hopefully see a lot and hear them bugling! The next day, we’ll check out the epic Fern Canyon (where Jurassic Park was filmed!) and Trillium falls. Both hikes are less than three miles, so this trip is for all skill levels! We’ll have another delicious round of dinner and desserts and wake up on Monday for a polar plunge before heading on home, arriving back on campus before 4 PM. Tickets will be 80$ and sold at tabling starting this Tuesday at 10! Hope to see you there!
